Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan Henry
3.0
Once Upon a Wardrobe is the story of a boy with significant medical issues, who falls in love with The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and his sister - a student at Oxford, brings him back stories from C.S. Lewis's life.
All in all, this book is 'fine'. There was nothing offensive or 'bad' about it, although I did raise my eyebrows at a scene between the big sister's love interest and his not so consensual behavior. All in all, it just wasn't great. It felt a little cliche and trope heavy in some areas, but the writing was nice enough. This is probably a good 'easy' book to read if you don't want to have to think or have any strong feelings at all.
