Agatha Raisin and the Love from Hell by M.C. Beaton

4.0

Aptly Titled!

It’s been awhile since I’ve delved into Agatha’s world, and I sure did miss her! I adore Agatha; I love how she fights middle age kicking and screaming, how honestly she can see herself, and at the same time be completely ignorant.

I love how M. C. Beaton can write a cozy mystery that isn’t just “fluff”, but actually gives you characters that you care about and never skimps on details.

In this book Agatha is just beginning to think she’s finally got her happily-ever-after, but soon discovers that her reality is not the fantasy she had in her head.

After Agatha has a very public confrontation, someone mysteriously disappears, someone else is found murdered, and Agatha is the prime suspect.

The usual hilarity and hijinks ensue, and once again Agatha find herself in real danger.

The fantastic Penelope Keith continues on as the reader for the audiobook.
