3) It was a very fun and cute read, which had a lot of cliches and stereotypes done purely for enjoyment so it worked well. It reminded me straight of a rom com you would see on tv. It was a bit slow and cringe at times, however I loved the concept and what the book was going for. How it was very movie heavy and there was screenings of different movies etc. I loved the tension between Luke and Ruby. But it did get annoyed all this ‘taking advantage’ stuff because Ruby started getting irritating and pick me, even though I liked her. It was hard to decide whether I enjoyed the book because it was fun but there were bits I was like really?? The ending was also very rushed and annoying as ruby literally told him to his face that she loved him but he just left. Then after speaking with his brother, he suddenly realised? It’s in every book. There was just a lot missing over all for me to give it anything higher.
