Where do I start with this book??

Warning: Spoilers below

Let's start with the main character, Sibel or Sibby as her friends call her, to me she is a very complex character with an extremely dark past which we learn about as we read through her story. You can definitely see why Sibby is the way she is from learning about how she was born and raised, as well as the horrors she faced growing up.

Her relationship with her Henchmen is a complex one, which features a lot of twists and turns throughout the story especially at the end. I will say that I did see those twists coming but I don't think that hindered the way I was reading the story if anything, it actually added to the story as I was then reading the interactions with different perspectives which added a lot of depth and range to them from spicy scenes to actual heartbreaking ones. I also found that when reading those scenes there was an extra element of mystery as I was trying to work out what was true and what was false.

I also really loved the interactions with Zade in this too, the way his brain worked out fairly quickly what was going on with Sibby and it was actually really sweet seeing them work together to try and stop the "demons" as Sibby calls them (which are actually just evil people to be honest involved in Dark web stuff if you catch my meaning). Seeing them work together and seeing him respect her which an extra layer of interaction that I really loved and I hope that they get to interaction more in future books.

I will say for people wondering about the gory/ murder scenes that they were very explicit and gruesome which from someone who loves horror the scenes did not bother me too much as my brain knows is fictional and as i said i love horror and i have watched a lot of thrillers/murder mysteries growing up but to people who are sensitive to that I would say that it might be too gruesome for some. There is a lot of stabbings so if you can watch Halloween/Scream you should be okay with that part.

Warnings/triggers/spoilers:
I will say there was one scene in particular involving a spiked bat which did make me cringe a little bit and that might be too much for some people. If you have ever watched the movie Seven you might understand where I am coming from and whether or not you can stomach that.

I also want to say I really loved the playlist that was made for this book. It really helped to get me into the Circus themed vibe for this book, which can I just say I loved Satan's Affair the circus I thought that was really cool and really helped to add to the creepy aesthetic going throughout the book.

My only issue with this story was that it was way too short. I would have loved to have read more especially with that ending, i wanted to see what happens next! I definitely feel that Sibby needs her own duet which to my knowledge is coming soon so I cannot wait for that especially as i have an idea of where the duet will be based from the ending of this one.

Warnings and Triggers:
To try not to give too much away but to also help people to see if they can handle Sibby story I will state the triggers that is involved in her past being insane cult where rape and child abuse was a part of that, also she was physically abused from her father and she watched her mother commit suicide.
