It was hard to get through. The plot is extremely predictable, the characters were plain apart from one or two exceptions. There is no plot driving the story, nothing to look forward to until the last third/quarter of the book. Some stuff that a supposed love interest does made me extremely uncomfortable, even though it was portrayed as hot. The world building is simple but interesting, and there is a lot of potential, I just don't think it was well executed. I also felt like the writing got sloppier by the end of the book.
