Even in an advanced, hopeful, peaceful, solar-punk world, the people that live there will still have the same internal struggles we face today. Enter Sibling Dex, and their small but consequential... existential crisis. 😅

Using the word crisis might sound extreme, but trust me, this book is anything but harsh. Reading it was like applying a warm compress to an ache I had long forgotten. I typically skew towards darker, more challenging books, but I enjoyed this so much. Certain cozy reads have turned me off in the past with their excessive, flowery, and meandering language. Chambers' writing shows how cozy stories can be written with direction and beauty. I'm sure I'll come back to this when I'm having a hard time in the future.Â
