Olivia is kidnapped by two men who hold her for five years.  The depraved men always wear masks (A gorilla & A jackal) and their proclivities range from rape to cannibalism.  Olivia is broken but sees an opportunity to escape and takes it, rescuing two other girls (Jen & Lucy) that were being held too and killing one of her captors.  As the agonizing investigation dredges everything that's happened in the last five years of captivity, Olivia is trying to move forward, Lucy is on the talk show circuit, & Jen is a shell of her former self.  One of the captors (jackal) is still on the loose and will stop at nothing to have Olivia back.  Creepy, disturbing, & captivating book with great character development of Olivia's journey from being beat down, attacked, & abused and back home with her father and the obsession the jackal has with her and will do anything to possess her again.
