Devil's Game by Joanna Wylde
4.0
4/5🌶️, MF, motorcycle club, rival MCs, abduction, technically a standalone but better read as part of the series (at least after book 2), Libby ebook
Third book of the Realer’s MC series, and I think I liked this one the best so far. This book has Romeo and Juliet vibes as the couple are from rivals clubs - she’s the prez’s daughter and he’s a high level enforcer. Like any good romance, this book starts with an abduction, and basically retells a portion of the last book from the FMC’s POV. I really liked the FMC, I enjoyed that she grew up in the MC so she knew all about the club stuff and was prepared to defend herself. She stood up to the MC members, didn’t let them push her around, and made decisions for herself, which was a change from most of the other FMC’s.
The MMC is kind of a dick at the beginning, but at least he’s self-aware. He grew on me as the book progressed, especially when he started to win back his girl after he was a dick. He respected the FMC (eventually) and treated her like a partner. I liked how the couple fought to be together and once they committed, nothing could keep them apart. I also liked the variety of spice in this book - there was some good dry humping and coming in pants, passionate kissing, handjobs, phone sex, etc. the FMC was a virgin but it wasn’t really fetishized and she wasn’t inexperienced. Plus, there was enough MC politics and action to keep the story moving.
