Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl

3.0

Started to read this with Kenner last night. She lasted about a chapter before she got distracted by the Barbie movie merch we got her. She's at camp right now so I finished it to pass the time. I feel bad for comparing this to the movie but man, Wes Anderson just got it right. So the book feels a little bland in comparison. A lot of the characters are better in the movie, especially Mr Fox, Mrs Fox, and Small Foxes (who got turned into Ash and Kristofferson). The villains stayed pretty much the same actually, but the conflict in the movie is much more complex because of how the other characters changed. The drawings are very charming though!
