A Blossom at Midnight by A.L. Knorr

This was a beautifully enchanted fantasy world full of magic, familiars, unseelies and royalty.

This story follows 3 different characters. Jessica, a seemingly boring girl who dreams of something more than being a farmer with her mother and soon discovers a life of magic. Laec, a deeply depressed man who has lost his way and is given a new task by his queen to bring purpose back to his life. And finally Citra, a wealthy merchant's daughter that is to be betrothed to a prince in another kingdom. All 3 of their lives are about to collide in a whirlwind adventure.

I absolutely love the world building and how completely immersive this world is. I even enjoyed reading through 3 different storylines in the beginning and seeing them slowly connect.

I would say my only complaint is the names. They were very complicated to read and I found myself most likely mispronouncing them or just skimming over completely lol.

This was a beautifully written story and I look forward to continuing the series!
