Burn for Me by Sara Cate
4.0
This was an enjoyable read. It is a student-teacher romance between Everly West, a journalism professor at Florence University, and Cullen Ayers, a student who wants revenge on Everly. The story was interesting and exciting. I really liked how the suspense was incorporated into the story. I really thought the characters were great. Every West is a 32-year-old journalism professor at Florence University. She had a breakthrough when she reported about Cullen’s father 8 years prior to this story. She is inquisitive, smart and emotional at times. Cullen Ayers is an 18-year-old college student who needs a creative writing credit in order to keep his scholarship. He wants to make Everly suffer the way that he suffered at first, but then genuinely falls in love with her. I thought their romance was sweet, even though it was forbidden. The ending was sweet, but it could have been longer. I can't wait to read more books by Sara Cate. Overall, a great read.
