Fire Falling by Elise Kova

4.06!

This one was actually enjoyable and set out a great road for the story to progress.

I'm gonna start with my love for Daniel, he was the perfect friend, he knew when to advise and when to listen but the thing that I loved the most about him was that he was there with her everytime she needed him like he would've been the perfect love interest.

Vhalla (I just hate that name so much) was better in this book but still she needed to stand up for herself. I hated that she always thought that she was wrong like get your head out of your ass woman.

Aldrik got better by the second half but I still don't like his character that much like he's got out of my hate zone but his tendency to make vhalla feel like shit made me hate him. He started making his way to the neutral zone by the end of the book. ( Hes still not there yet)

SPOILERS:
I loved larel in the last book and even in this one also liked Fritz alot and I liked how we got to see their character depth and their emotional complexity I was so sad when the author killed larel BECUASE she was one of the reasons why I was reading this book.

Romance was eugh I felt like it was toxic and I can't like it untill aldrik redeems himself.

World building didn't see it in this book.

Plot, there wasn't much in the plot it could have easily been so good if she decided to give the plot a little focus because it is declared at the end of air awakens that vhalla would be conscripted so it was supposed to be in this book that we got the action and war scenes but nope itll be earth's end the third part.

It was definitely more characters driven and I mean it was very character driven I liked that we got to see the characters evolve but It got boring and the book literally took more than 200 pages to get into its action and those last 150 pages were
