The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor

3.0

This was an easy yet engaging read and I found myself flying through its pages. After finishing, I felt like Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day off when he’s staring at Sunday in the Park in the art museum: what are simply dots when viewed up close become a complete image when you pull back. The same could be said about this book for, although each character, each piece of information seems inconsequential, it all comes together it a supremely satisfying way. It kept me guessing ‘til the end and even had some unexpected twists that fit with the narrative rather than seeming forced or overdone .
