First thought when finished: Not my favorite in the series but still a good read!

What I Thought of the Case: The Unholy was set in Hollywood and managed to bring in the old mixed with the new. This story had a very Noir type of feel that kept me reading from beginning to the end. As with each case before the murderer is very real but there are small paranormal elements that play into solving the case. The Unholy was not hard to figure out (as to who was involved) but it did have a few twists at the end that kept you wondering if you guessed right. That is such a fun element to mystery reading for me.

What I Thought of the Characters: I really love this new team! The Unholy is their 2nd case and they are truly beginning to come together. Each person brings their own strengths and weaknesses to the table. Sean is at the center of the story and he makes me swoon. He is strong, reliable, loyal, and just a tad bit HOT! His backstory is so sweet that I dare you not to fall in love. His love interest, Madison, is a good match for him and her being friends with the ghost of "Bogey" was great! The characters are what I adore about this series overall!

What I Thought of the Audio: Luke Daniels narrated this so you know I loved it! The running time was about 8 hours and perfect for a work day. The pacing and articulation were great! I pretty much recommend listening to any book that Luke narrates.

Final Thought: I love this series overall and would recommend it to Romantic Suspense/Mystery lovers that don't mind a slight paranormal tinge to their books!
