The Big Disruption by Jessica Powell

1.0

Stopped reading a third of the way through. I had high hopes for this, but didn't really enjoy it. Satire involves caricatures of people, but all the characters here were too highly exaggerated, everyone was cartoonishly stupid and/or evil. Made it very hard to keep reading because I had no characters I was rooting for or sympathizing with. It didn't really engage with the ethics of technology and Silicon Valley like I was hoping it would, it was all a bit too cartoonish. Silicon Valley and The Circle did it better I think.
