Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns: A Muslim Book of Colors by Hena Khan

4.0

A sweet and short little children’s book I checked out from the library to read to two of my violin students (ages 3 and 4) and their families celebrating Ramadan right now.

Lovely illustrations, and also loved that it was a color book (every new phrase/concept was introduced through a new color). There is a glossary of terms used in the book and how to pronounce them (i.e. Fanoos [fun-OOSE] a Middle Eastern lantern made of tin and glass), and is a perfect fit for what I was looking for!
