Bossypants by Tina Fey

5.0

Hysterical and thoughtful, too. One of the strongest chapters is how specific lessons learned in improv apply to life. This in particular was wisdom shared in a witty way, and that is what this book offers.

audiobook note: Fey is (naturally) fabulous. I did find the constant references to "this audiobook" a little jarring. I suppose when I listen to a book that I want to believe it is a true recording of the printed work, but now I wonder what else was different. Of course, this also meant we heard the actual audio clip of the Palin/Clinton SNL sketch, and that was pretty great. However, she also alludes to the PDF several times (for photos), but since I listen on my commute I felt I was being cheated a bit. Petty concerns, though. Overall, I'd recommend this to many different listeners.
