Shakespeare's Dark Lady: Amelia Bassano Lanier The woman behind Shakespeare's plays? by John Hudson

5.0

The book was captivating, and while I’m not well versed enough in the subject to dispute any of the facts in the book, it seemed to be very well researched. This book has left me convinced that Amelia Bassano Lanier is the author of the shakespearean works, and excited to do more research into the subject. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the shakespearean authorship question. The only problem I had with this book was that it was very repetitive at times, and sometimes I felt that I had to push through reading it. Despite these problems I decided to give it 5 stars because of how much it has changed my thinking, I probably would have given it 4.5 stars if possible.
