I knew when this was released that I’d have to read it eventually. Then I saw that Spotify now offers Audiobooks & decided I’d like to try one out. Seeing that Jennette voiced this herself convinced me that β€œI’m Glad My Mom Died” would be the first audiobook I listen to. I’m so glad it was.

This was so raw. The self-awareness & bluntness she uses to talk about all of her experiences kept me glued to the story. Learning, as someone who grew up watching iCarly, that all of this was happening behind the scenes was saddening.

As many others have said, I’m also glad her mom died. It was the beginning of a long and painful, but hopeful, road to recovery.

Highly recommend listening to the audiobook!
