the concepts behind these stories were so so good. it felt like some stories didn't have much of a resolution, but the more i read short story collections, the more of that i see, so i think it's pretty common with short stories? not my favorite thing, but the concepts and writing were so good with these that it didn't bother me as much as it usually does.

Life Ceremony, Hatchling, and A First Rate Material all stuck out to me the most
