I am struggling to find the right words to describe this novel. I can think of a few - perfect, excellent, inspiring - but none truly capture the way this book made me feel. This book dug down into the pit of my soul and asked me to examine my own grief through new eyes. Reading this has healed parts of me that I didn’t know were broken. With laughter and lots (and I mean LOTS) of tears, this novel holds the reader’s hand and guides them through the process of life and loss in a way no other book has. To call this story beautiful is the understatement of a century. It is life-changing and impossibly simple.
