Confession time--I haven't read the other books in the series. They're on my TBR pile, but there's only so much time in a week! I decided to start with this one, since it's a novella and therefore a quick read.
I enjoyed it quite a bit--it's a dramatic and moving story--but as I don't know the characters from the other books yet, some of it didn't have the impact on me that it would have otherwise.
Verdict--Tracey Devlyn is definitely an author I'm going to enjoy reading more from. Historical romantic suspense with spies! All my faves :) The first three books in the series have definitely moved up my TBR list. (And once I'm done, this one will definitely be a re-read!)
