The Sad Ghost Club 2 by Lize Meddings
5.0
Another beautiful piece from Lize Meddings for The Sad Ghost Club. Sock's difficulty to cope through the change of dynamics with their friendship with SG is very relatable and a common experience not only among teenagers but also for young adults and maybe even for adults themselves. We see that Socks eventually realised shutting themselves out from others is an unhealthy approach and managed to mend their mistakes with SG and with Rue. We also see the consequences of grieving through Rue's character and it's something I really appreciate being depicted. Now the Sad Ghost Club has been established, I am very happy with the plot and progress of this book.
I really find myself relating to all three characters. As if a piece of myself was cut out and inserted into Socks, SG, and Rue individually. It was a heart-warming experience to read this book especially in a low point of my life currently. I hope to buy my own copy so that I could reach it from my own bookshelf and relive the charming experiences of Rue, SG, and Socks all over again.
I am not informed that there was a Book 3 of this! My local library does not have it :( Hopefully when I am in the financial position that I can purchase it :)
