Sloppy writing, no character buildup and extremely poor logic in the story. The narration is fast but the content is so painfully average.
1 star because of the anthropology related facts sprinkled here and there in the book. The reason why I’d picked this book was to learn something about the Japanese culture, and so I did, hence another star.
