Another brilliant adaptation from Gou Tanabe, and of one of Lovecraft's greatest works too. The sense of mystery and tension throughout the story is palpable. The visuals Tanabe adds are gorgeous and visceral, he knows perfectly how to capture the aesthetic Lovecraft describes, and the entire work is elevated by his illustrations. Once I started I could not put this book down until I had read the entire thing.
