Evil at Heart by Chelsea Cain

3.0

It's a fun, fast read. I won't write too much for fear of 'spoilers,' especially since writing about almost all of it would be ruining some of the fun. It's a total guilty pleasure thriller that's actually pretty well written. I have no idea if this is the last in the books about Gretchen Lowell--there's a solid sense of closure at the end of the novel, but I can totally see it being busted wide open in another book. This is probably purposeful on Cain's part; if she's ever at a loss for cash, she can bring her characters back for a fourth. I'd certainly read it!
