The Taste of Light by Giovanna Siniscalchi

5.0

Pedro finds his light

Oh my I didn't want this book to ever end. Pedro's past comes to call as he's licking his wounds from the loss of the woman he thought he would marry. When Anne shows up on his doorstep just as something sinister begins, she's forced to go on the run with Pedro and his brother Cris. Anne, unaware of Pedro's past with her brother and sister in law sets her own impression of the withdrawn Pedro Daun, Count of Almoster and she sees that there is more to the man than meets the eye.

Pedro, unable to accept human touch finds that Anne's touch is comforting, it's home, It's his guiding light. However, he's not a good man, an honorable man, and he can't be the man to ruin her.
Their adventure is filled with betrayal, travels on the seas, amazingly beautiful intimacy, and history... The history is as rich as the food and wine.

Giovanna once again gives an amazing read filled with action, love, and history. Her books are always the kind you don't want to put down, but never want to end. Revisiting the cast of characters she's created is always a pleasure and I'm hoping to see so much more of them. Start The Winemakers Series today.
