What He Always Knew by Kandi Steiner
5.0
4.9 all the feel stars
My mind has been on this roller coaster wondering how this story was going to go. Who would Charlie choose. Reese? Cameron? I won't tell you. You have to read it to find out. I vacillated in which man I wanted to win. Just when I thought I'd be Team Reese something would happen and it would switch to Team Cameron. This was a constant back and fourth. All I knew was that I wanted Charlie to be loved unconditionally. I loved that we got each characters point of view of what they were feeling. It wasn't an easy decision for any of them.
One of my favorite scenes in the book was a conversation between Reese and Cameron where each told the other what they expected for Charlie if they weren't chosen and the other was. It was heartbreaking but it was real. I'm in awe of this author and her ability to make you fall in love with both men.
I hope that the one not chosen gets a story that was hinted at in the spectacular epilogue. An epilogue that I must say is one of the best that I have ever read. Kudos to this author for a spectacular duet. Also, thank you for not making me wait months and months to see whether she took a left or a right.
