Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life...And Maybe the World by William H. McRaven
4.0
"We will all find ourselves neck-deep in mud someday. That is the time to sing loudly, to smile broadly, to lift up those around you, and give them hope that tomorrow will be a better day."
Admiral William H. McRaven establishes fast yet simple life lessons that can be applied to anyone. McRaven organizes these "lessons" in chapters & provides examples from when he learned these in his career in the Seals, but outside them as well. My personal favorites include "You Must Dare Greatly" & "Life's not Fair- Drive On!"
I am not one for motivational books typically, but I found his military stories & life lessons to be transferable to the complexity of life itself.
