This has been on my Kindle since 2017. I can't put into words how happy I am to have FINALLY read this. And not only read it but enjoyed it.

The writing was beautiful, and I was fully immersed in the Imperial Russia setting. Amazing plot and I love the historical aspects.

My only dislikes are that it was difficult to keep up with all the names and several typos and errors did pull me out of the story at times. Other than those, this was a really good story.

I recommend this if you find Imperial Russia and the Romanov family interesting. Includes the found family trope. Along with historical fiction, I'd label this as a period drama too. I'm being difficult with my rating. It's more than 3 stars, not quite 4, but more than 3.5. So, we're going with 3.75 (rounded up to 4)
