Then Came You - Dylan Allen 🖤
"She’s become my family.  I want to protect her.  I want her to protect me.  I want there to be an ‘us.’"
“You don’t have to be nice,” I plead. His eyes soften with a tenderness that hits me right in the chest. He takes my right hand and holds it in both of his. “I’m not being nice. I’m being completely selfish. I want you to have dinner with me. Please.” He says this in a rumbling tone that sends a delicious shiver down the back of my neck. Why does he have to be my kryptonite? "
Simon and Addie are two broken individuals who need mending more than they know. Their relationship is an interesting one of back and forth, but definitely full of love. What is love ? How do you truly love another person if you’ve never been taught to do so honestly?  These two can’t stay away from each other, while at the same time being together proves to be too difficult at times.

I was so excited to be able to read an ARC  of this beautiful love story filled with drama, love, lust, secrets, and the breaking down of walls in the city of skylines to fall in love with. This dual POV gave me such a well rounded experience as a reader getting to know these characters and the way that they love. Their encounter running into each other on the night of canceled plans was PERFECTION and was swoon worthy! 😍😍😍

Dylan Allen has the gift of showing love in the most complex of circumstances between individuals who don’t think they deserve it. 😭😭😭😭
