I really enjoyed this mystery, and the narration of the audiobook added to that. The mystery itself was complex enough to keep your interest. The un-peeling of Isaiah’s layers by telling his origin story was smart and I was glad it connected to the present-day mystery. There is a lot of language, which I don’t really like, but it felt true to the characters and location. I look forward to reading more!
