Ok where to start with Bunny? So I wasn't even intending on reading this one, but I kept seeing in being discussed in my favourite reading group, and it was being sold as "Heathers meets Mean Girls means Frankenstein", and honestly that completely pulled me in.

Reading the reviews for this doesn't give much away beyond the fact that it comes across very much as a marmite type of book. You are either on board with the weird and some times creepy vibes of the story and the fact that pretty much all the characters are basically unlikeable mean girls, or you aren't. There is no in between. The story is more satirical, dark comedy than horror, and that is part of the reason it was a four star rather than a five star for me, but it was still one of my favourite reads of the year so far.

The writing can some times be almost so sickly sweet in it's description that it almost makes your teeth hurt, and other times it becomes dark, twisty and abstract. It has a rollercoaster feel in the way it switches and moves through the story.

If you like abstract, weird and almost pretentious at time story telling, and don't go in expecting to like the characters then I would definitely recommend, but it isn't a book for everyone.
