The Rebound by Kendall Ryan

3.0

I really wanted to love this book, as the premise was good and I really liked The Rival. I liked both of the main characters and thought that it was realistic conflict.

Some things that frustrated me though were the lack of details and information that were provided.

We never found out how old either main character was. Nor did we know how far along Kinley was until 56% of the way in, seems like something we could’ve known in the beginning to get an idea of time lapsing.
And at 84% we randomly learn that her brother lived down the hall from Saint and kinley the whole time, how did he never run into them together?

I also thought it was lacking scenes that the reader could’ve benefited from. Including her learning Saint’s first name (which by the way was never mentioned in the whole book aside from a tabloid headline, I thought that was odd). Spoiler: we also didn’t get to see Saint meeting the baby for the first time after being there for the birth. I feel like that would’ve been an emotional touching moment to read.
