Though I’m happy with how the series wrapped up with Darcy, I was not really a big fan of how the story played out. The initial conflicts seemed very force and I didn’t really get the same swoon worthy feelings about our hero as I did with the other books. I appreciate the theme of how Darcy cares so much for the community that pretty much saved her as a child from feeling abandoned but it felt like that was the only character trait about her and it was heavily pushed down our throats. Logan on the other had I felt had a bit more balanced approach to the way he was battling his past but it was still a bit on the extreme side by the time the we got closer to the end of the book. Overall I’m really happy I finished out the series though this one was probably my least favorite of the bunch.
