Princess Vivienne hasn’t known much life outside the palace. As the sole heir to the throne her future is laid out for her until her father diagnosis pushes the timeline up for her to take the throne, but she wants just one semester at college to be a normal kid. Getting a fake identity she goes to college in the United States, not expecting to run into the star quarterback and feeling something for him. The more she seems him and run together the more she wishes how normal her life was. But soon she’ll never get to talk to him again. And what will Jace do when he finds out the truth.

While this book started off slow it didn’t take long for me to completely fly through this story. I loved the dynamic of the princess vs the royalty of Jace Dawson at college. I love watching how headstrong and stubborn both Vivi and Jace are together. They compliment each other in the best ways and open up to each other more than they do anyone else.

I love Jace taking Vivi home and meeting his family and how he has loved his life. They welcome her with open arms and Jax and Vivi get closer even though she knows they’ll get torn apart eventually. All of the side characters in this story just added something special and extra into this and I loved each individual character.

This was definitely a new and unique plot for me to read and I enjoyed every second of this. The mutual pining and the forbidden ness. Everything that both Vivi and shave had to do to be together. I loved their happily ever after and I’m so sad their story is over.
