Two Rogues Make a Right by Cat Sebastian

adventurous funny lighthearted mysterious sad medium-paced

3.0

Was a very cute book, but I have a couple complaints about it.

CW: Spoilers, mentions of drug addiction, torture, and smut

1.
I wish Cat went into more detail about Will's drug addiction and torture/trauma. It was briefly mentioned in the book, but there was almost no sign of his trauma affecting him at all, even when meeting people he knew when he was in the navy. Not necessarily needs resolved trauma, but I would've at least appreciated it if Will got more character from it. The reason being, is because Martin's daddy issues were frequent plot points throughout the book, and influenced most of Martin's character development, and the books plot as a whole (I'm aware there's not supposed to be a plot in this book, but I digress).

2. Before reading this book, I found no mention of this book containing sexually explicit scenes. This made me enjoy the book less for that reason (reader preference). This is mostly a reader error, but it did take me up until this point to find any mention of it.
