As with the other books in this series, the characters are well written and relatable. I like the way they are introduced, and their character arc really does develop throughout the story. I also like that you get peek into the lives of past characters (from previous books) that I liked.
My knowledge about places in America is very limited. However, I felt that the town in which the story is set is. Very genetic, almost cliche. That being said, it kends itself very well to the plot.
This story is written in dual POV of both the FMC & the MMC. I really enjoyed how the characters were written to complement each other, and you got a genuine snapshot of how they related to others and the world around them. Another bonus it that jt was written in first person, which is a preferred style of mine.
I feel like the writing was a little flat in places, but not necessarily boring. Some books are easy read and this us meant to be one of them.
