Liar by K.L. Slater
4.0
This is my first time reading a novel by Slater and I know it won't be my last.
The novel starts with the end, and then it goes back to the beginning. It's a very effective technique and it starts the novel with suspense. I don't really like reading eBooks, since it's not as enjoyable as holding the hard copy in your hand, but I got through it.
The title of the book was a huge want-to-read moment for me. You think that there is only one liar in the book, bu really there's a lot more than one. I didn't know who I could trust till the very last page.
The ending was pretty obvious, but I was still shocked at the twists that came my way. They're really good ones. I hope that they make hard copies of her novels because I want to read more but not from the screen of my phone.
It's a really book about trust and it questions how far you would really go to protect the ones you love.
