This short story takes place in the New Camelot world as Embry pens a letter to Ash on the night they have their last first together and just before the explosive ending to American King.
This was a story that I didn't know that I needed but it was utterly everything. Embry is carrying so much pain feeling as though he has betrayed Ash but the amount of love that he is feeling helps to comfort him. This story was a little spicy but it was also a lot romantic. Such a satisfying conclusion to my re-read of New Camelot.
