The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien
4.0
I delayed my reading of this so long, and I don't know why I thought it would be hard to read! All I had to do was not try to pronounce any of the names, not try to remember any of the names, and not try to keep track of any of the characters or places...
Seriously though, this is a good book, but you need to let it wash over you, especially in the first few chapters. Like Russian literature, everyone has two or three names, most of them you cannot pronounce, and you just sort of have to get used to it. And do NOT skip the preface with J.R.R.'s transcribed letter giving the overview. Much more helpful than you would think, and not really a spoiler.
