The Demon of Dakar by Kjell Eriksson

3.0

This novel is about how crime affects the lives of ordinary people. In this case, after some drug smugglers bilk two Mexican farmers who they hired to smuggle drugs, after telling them they are carrying letters, their older brother comes to Sweden to collect the money they were promised. The fates of the characters, particularly the Mexicans, are compelling.
