I really appreciate how Sara Cate approaches the kink world and how she emphasizes safety, consent, communication, and acceptance in a sexy way!

I loved seeing Eden’s backstory and how she came to be Madame Kink. I loved how passionate she was about empowerment and encouraging people to be their authentic selves.

The spice was SPICY across the board, and I really appreciated the inner dialogue of everyone as they navigated this new situation of having feelings for two people at once, despite the fact that society doesn’t see that as normal.
I appreciated Jade’s growth in her confidence and her sexual awakening, and watching Clay embrace his submissive side without feeling threatened in his masculinity.

I think Sara Cate has a talent for presenting these topics in vulnerable, open, truthful ways without draining the sex appeal, which makes for a fantastic read every time.

(Possible spoiler:
I am personally not a big fan of the third act breakup ANYWAY, but this one DID seem over the top. Also while I enjoyed Jade and Eden’s scenes, their romantic relationship didn’t feel as deep or meaningful as Eden and Clay, or Clay and Eden. Those complaints knocked points  off my rating, but still thoroughly enjoyed Madame.)
