Amazing! I don't know why I haven't read this before now. This book hit all my squishy buttons. When Jordan told Owen he had to get away from him my heart broke for him, I wanted to cry.

I listened to this on audiobook and quickly went out and bought the Kindle version so I could look up and highlight a passage that I want to remember:

"No matter what you do with your life during the day, there's always that moment when you have to wake up with yourself, with yourself and the person that's sleeping beside you. That's the person that you make a home with, discuss life's big decisions with, share your finances, eat, shop, maybe parent with. That's the person you share your body with forever, kiss, touch, the one you sit on the couch with and watch movies, the one who gives you a hug when you've had a rough day. That's the person you put up a Christmas tree with and arrive home with for the holidays, the person you watch grow old and who still loves you when you're not as nice to look at, the one who holds your had when you're dying. And none of that had anything to do with wrestling."

So back to the audio version. Tristan Wright did an excellent job narrating this. His voice was exactly right for the young characters. He portrayed each with enough clarity that I was able to tell who was talking. I felt the emotions of the characters. Told in first person, Tristan talked to me. I didn't get the feeling that he was reading a book. It was more like he was telling me about an event that he had experienced himself. Even before I was finished, I was checking to see what other audio books he has narrated. I was disappointed to not find any, but will definitely be keeping an eye on him in the future.

Besides the few moments where I wanted to cry, I think I just smiled the whole time I listened to this book. It was just amazing.
