✨Book Review: Frankie by Graham Norton✨
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Frankie by Graham Norton is a masterful, decade-sweeping novel that captures the essence of a life lived on the fringes yet deeply impactful. Frankie Howe’s journey from post-war Ireland to the vibrant art scene of 1960s New York is a stunning exploration of love, courage, and the quiet significance of an unassuming life.
I chose to listen to the audiobook, narrated by Graham Norton himself, and I am so glad I did. Norton’s narration is exquisite, seamlessly switching between accents and adding rich layers to the story. It felt like sitting across from Frankie as she recounted her memories. This was an incredibly immersive read that had me listening intensely, completely transfixed by the world and characters Norton brought to life.
This book is not just a story—it’s an experience. Thought-provoking, poignant, and beautifully written, Frankie is a must-read (or must-listen!) for anyone who loves character-driven fiction that lingers with you long after the last page.
