emotional funny lighthearted sad
  • Plot- or character-driven? Character
  • Strong character development? Yes
  • Loveable characters? Yes
ok so in watched the anime and the movie (it permanently altered my brain chemistry. 5 stars!) after reading v1 now I've finally got my hands on the rest of the manga
  • no bc why was the Uenoyama x Akihiko convo so funny
  • those basketball bros are def in love
  • Uenoyama king of gay panic "my heart's not beating fast. it's not!"
  • Broken string before the concert scene...he's so in love and he said it so many ways and he ain't even intend to i-
  • Uenoyama was foul for kissing Mafuyu backstage like that like bro just had a breakthrough point in his grief journey, it's a big emotional moment he's feeling tumultuous and you kiss him??? Poor timing sir!!!
  • idk i just feel like i need a little more on the Yuki/Mafuyu dynamic like they seem like soulmates but i'm a bit sus like at times it felt like there was a it of a power dynamic with Yuki calling all the shots?
  • was a big Ugetsu hater after watching the show, like I understand he needs therapy but I just felt like he strung Akihiko along too long, the "day in the life (of roommates)" side comic was cute but Akihiko looked kinda annoyed in every panel. Ugetsu seems selfish.
    • Also me when they casually share what's basically a studio apartment (there's only one bed) together: 👀
