Not a huge fan of this series, glad I didn't buy the books.
There are soooo many twists in this book, but only one of them actually surprised me (HARLOWE IM LOOKING AT YOU). There are too many moments where Jaron is captured but eventually escapes, it becomes repetitive. You can see what is coming behind every corner (GASP! JARON ESCAPES AGAIN, for the 5th time?). This arc was a boring, though the gold of this series was in the banter of conversation, all the war happenings were a little tiresome.
