All the Sinners Bleed by S.A. Cosby

3.5/5
A cool gothic mystery novel taking place in rural Virginia. Strong True Detective vibes but sometimes this influence is a little too on-the-nose. Some very touching character moments between the protagonist and his father and the novel does a good job of portraying the town and it's inhabitants. I wasn't particularly taken with the protagonist's religious angst as it felt immature at times but the story wraps up nicely and I like what the protagonist does at the very end.
Good book.
