I don't know why I never read this before now. This was such a great story, and so well done to position itself as both young and grown fantasy. I love the character development that happens throughout the story, and the many little adventures that Bilbo and the dwarves get into are so fun (while at times also being quite dangerous).
I feel shame in only reading this now in my 32nd year.
Andy Serkis absolutely annihilated the audiobook narration, too. So much passion, and his voices are all phenomenal. His pacing could be a tad slower, but that would be the only complaint I could find with his production.
