Screams in Symphony by Kelsey Clayton
5.0
"Screams in Symphony" picks up right where the heart-wrenching cliffhanger of "Suffer in Silence" left us hanging.
Kage is understandably overwhelmed, and those initial chapters are agonizing to witness. However, this is only the beginning; things get even more challenging before they start to improve.
As the narrative unfolds, the puzzle pieces gradually fall into place. We witness Saxon's recovery, both physically and mentally, and observe her transformation into a new, stronger, more self-assured, and unrelenting version of herself. Simultaneously, we see Kage's evolution as he embraces Saxon as his equal, recognizing her as more than a delicate flower to be sheltered and kept in the dark.
This duet was truly epic, and "Screams in Symphony" provides an especially gratifying conclusion. I adored every aspect of it! The constant action, scorching-hot scenes, and well-paced character development delivered everything my insatiable dark heart desires, all within the captivating and twisted world of mafia romance.
